Tedj Bensaoula (Arabic:تاج بن سحاولة) (born 1 December 1954) is an Algerianfootball manager and formerfootballer who played as aforward. He currently managesCR Témouchent in theAlgerian Ligue Professionnelle 2.
Tedj Bensaoula was born in the farm of his grandparents inOued Berkeche, on the heights between the massifs ofHammam Bou Hadjar andTessala. In 1958 his family was driven out of this area prohibited during the Liberation War, the family moved toHammam Bou Hadjar, Tedj was four years old.[1]
Bensaoula played withMC Oran inAlgeria and withLe Havre AC andUSL Dunkerque in France.
Bensaoula participated with theAlgeria national football team at two editions of theFIFA World Cup, in1982 (one goal scored) and1986.[2] He also participated in the1980 Summer Olympics.[3]
