Terrell Edwin "Ted" Daffer (September 24, 1929 – March 1, 2006) was anAmerican football player. He playedcollege football for theTennessee Volunteers football team at theguard position from 1949 to 1951.[1] He was selected by theAmerican Football Coaches Association (AFCA),Associated Press (AP),Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and theInternational News Service (INS) as a first-team guard on the1950 College Football All-America Team. The following year, he was again selected by the INS and theNewspaper Enterprise Association as a first-team player on the1951 All-America Team. Daffer was selected by theChicago Bears in the 21st round of the1952 NFL draft.[2] After two years of service in theUnited States Army,[1] he played for the Bears during the1954 NFL season.[2][3] He later played for theOttawa Rough Riders in theCanadian Football League (CFL).[1]
