Taylor is anunincorporated community in northeasternMarion County,Missouri, United States.[1] Taylor is located at the northern junction ofU.S. Routes 24 and61, approximately five miles west ofQuincy, Illinois and eight miles north ofPalmyra. The community is part of theHannibalMicropolitan Statistical Area.
A post office called Taylor has been in operation since 1873.[2] The community was named after Captain John Taylor, the proprietor of a localmill.[3]
