Tayler Adams (born 24 November 1993) is aNew Zealand rugby union player who plays as ahalfback for theToronto Arrows inMajor League Rugby (MLR). He also representsSouthland in theITM Cup.

Career

He made hisSouthland debut in 2012, and his strong performances saw him named in theNew Zealand national under-20 squad for the2013 IRB Junior World Championship inFrance.

Between 2015 and 2018 he played in Australia, initially in theNRC, and in 2018 for theMelbourne Rebels inSuper Rugby.

Career

At the age of just 18 years he was whisked into theStags squad in 2012 after brothersJimmy andScott Cowan departed. He made his debut in an 84–nil loss toCanterbury inChristchurch, and went on to also start in Southland's remaining three games of the season.[1] He moved to Australia in 2015, playing forGreater Sydney Rams andNSW Country Eagles in theNRC, and in 2018 for theMelbourne Rebels inSuper Rugby. He returned toSouthland following the2018 Super Rugby season. In 2019 he joined theToronto Arrows ahead of the 2020Major League Rugby season.[2]
