Taye Ashby-Hammond (born 21 March 1999) is an English professionalfootballer who plays as agoalkeeper forEFL League One clubStevenage.
Born inRichmond, London,[1] Ashby-Hammond began his career withFulham, spending time on loan at non-league clubsChipstead,Maidenhead United, andBoreham Wood.[2][3][4][5][6][7][8] At Boreham Wood he was "an integral part in the National League team's impressive run to the Fifth Round of theFA Cup".[9]
He signed on loan forStevenage in June 2022, becoming the club's ninth signing of the transfer window.[10][9] In June 2023 it was announced that he would return to Stevenage after signing a permanent contract.[11]
Ashby-Hammond has been capped by England atunder-16 andunder-17 levels.[12]
Ashby-Hammond has a brother,Luca, who is also a goalkeeper.[13]
