[edit]

NXT (2021–present)

[edit]

Holland signed a contract withWWE in August 2021, after participating in physical tests carried out by the company. To begin her training, she reported to theWWE Performance Center.[3] On the January 25, 2022 episode ofNXT, her first speaking role would be in a backstage segment involvingCora Jade andRaquel González.[8]

On February 15, on the debut episode ofNXT Level Up, she made her in-ring debut as aface under thering nameTatum Paxley, teaming withIvy Nile ofDiamond Mine, and scoring a victory overFallon Henley andKayla Inlay.[9] On the February 22 episode ofNXT, Paxley and Nile participated in the first round of the women'sDusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic againstKacy Catanzaro andKayden Carter, in which they were defeated.[10] Now a formalized tag team, Paxley and Nile engaged in a fatal four-way tag team match against Katana Chance and Carter, Valentina Feroz andYulisa Leon, andToxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin andJacy Jayne) on the August 2 episode ofNXT for the vacantNXT Women's Tag Team Championship, which they failed to win.[11] After feeling morally abandoned by Nile, on the March 14, 2023, episode ofNXT, Paxley abandoned Nile during a three-way tag team match, leaving her to suffer the pinfall byAlba FyreandIsla Dawn, thus turningheel.[12] On the April 4 episode ofNXT, Paxley was defeated by Nile, and would only appear sporadically on NXT Television and mostly be on LvL Up.[13]Paxley would return to a main role again on the November 28, 2023 edition of NXT interrupting a segment involving,NXT Women's ChampionLyra Valkyria and Fallon Henley. Paxley took on the character of a deranged creep and began a storyline where she stalked Valkyria during backstage interviews and during her matches.[14] Paxley turned face atNXT: New Year's Evil on January 2, 2024, after saving Valkyria from a beatdown byLola Vice andElektra Lopez, eventually developing an obsession and a crush on Valkyria.[15] Ever since then, Paxley would interfere on Valkyria's matches to the latter's disapproval. AtNXT: Roadblock on March 5, Valkyria and Paxley facedThe Kabuki Warriors for theWWE Women's Tag Team Championship as a reward from Valkyria to Paxley for the latter not interfering with the former's title matches againstShotzi andLash Legend in the previous week, but failed to win the titles after Valkyria inadvertently kicked Paxley.[16][17] On the April 9 episode ofNXT afterNXT Stand & Deliver where Valkyria lost the NXT Women's Championship toRoxanne Perez, Paxley turned on Valkyria and reverted to a heel.[18] On the following week ofNXT, Paxley revealed that her obsession with Valkyria was only because she had the NXT Women's Championship. Later that night, Paxley defeatedThea Hail after interference from Jacy Jayne andJazmyn Nyx, and was attacked by Valkyria after the match. NXT general managerAva then announced that Perez will defend the NXT Women's Championship against Paxley and Valkyria in atriple threat match at Week 1 ofSpring Breakin' on April 23, where Perez retained her title.[19][20] Valkyria was subsequently promoted to theRawbrand in the2024 WWE Draft the following week, ending the feud between the two.[21]

On the May 28 episode ofNXT, Paxley took onMichin to qualify for a spot in the six-womanladder match to crown the inauguralNXT Women's North American Champion atNXT Battleground, where she lost.[22][23] In July, Paxley formed a short-lived alliance withWendy Choo, who turned on Paxley at Week 2 ofNXT: The Great American Bash on August 6 after Paxley failed to defeat NXT Women's North American ChampionKelani Jordan for the title.[24][25] On the September 3 episode ofNXT, Paxley defeated TNA'sRosemary, who had aligned with Choo. After the match, Paxley was attacked by Choo and Rosemary. Lyra Valkyria returned to NXT to save Paxley and the pair reunited, turning Paxley face once more.[26] On the October 22 episode ofNXT, after losing a match against Jaida Parker, Paxley was stuffed into a loading box by Choo.[27] AtNXT Halloween Havoc on October 27, Paxley spun theSpin the Wheel, Make the Deal wheel, and the first ever women'scasket match in WWE was scheduled between herself and Choo,[28] which was won by Paxley two days later to end their feud.[29]

On the November 26 episode ofNXT, Paxley challengedFallon Henley for theNXT Women's North American Championship but failed to win the title. After the match, she was attacked by Henley and herFatal Influence stablemates Jacy Jayne and Jazmyn Nyx. Paxley was then saved by a returning Gigi Dolin and formed an alliance with her.[30] On the following week, Paxley and Dolin lost to Jayne and Nyx in a tag team match. After the match,Shotzi saved the pair from a beatdown by Fatal Influence.[31] The two teams would face off atNXT: New Year's Evil on January 7, 2025, where Paxley, Dolin and Shotzi emerged victorious.[32] At theNXT Stand & Deliver pre-show on April 19, Paxley and Dolin won afatal four-way tag teamelimination match to become the #1 contenders for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship[33] but failed to defeatLiv MorganandRaquel Rodriguez for the titles on the April 22 episode ofNXT.[34] The alliance of Paxley, Dolin and Shotzi effectively ended in May when Dolin was released from her WWE contract and Shotzi departed the company upon the expiry of her contract.[35][36]On the May 13 episode ofNXT, Paxley had a breakdown backstage, after which Thea Hail tried to console her, but to no avail, thus resulting in a match between Paxley and Hail, which Paxley lost due to disqualification for gouging Hail's eye while escaping akimura lock, and continued to attack her after the match had ended, turning heel again.[37] Paxley then entered into a storyline withIzzi Dame, where Dame attempted to recruit Paxley intoThe Cullingstable. On the July 1 episode ofNXT, Paxley teamed with Dame to defeatZaria andSol Ruca, and joined The Culling.[38] AtEvolution on July 13, Paxley and Dame entered the 20-womanbattle royal for a women's world championship match atClash in Paris but the pair were immediately eliminated at the start of the match byNia Jax.[39] On the July 22 episode ofNXT, The Culling (Paxley, Dame,Shawn Spears, andNiko Vance) defeatedNXT Tag Team Champions Hank and Tank (Hank Walker andTank Ledger), Zaria, and Sol Ruca in aneight-person mixed tag team match in The Culling's first match as a whole stable with Paxley picking up the win.[40] On the August 5 episode ofNXT, Paxley challenged Ruca for the NXT Women's North American Championship, but failed to win the title.[41][42]

On October 14 episode of NXT, Paxley won a battle royal to become the #1 contender for the NXT Women's Championship by last eliminating Dame andJordynne Grace, with her former tag team partner Lyra Valkyria joining the ring to celebrate with her, seemingly reverting Paxley back to a face in the process.[43] AtHalloween Havoc on October 25, Paxley defeated Jacy Jayne to win the title.[44] At the subsequent episode of NXT, however, Paxley went against the advice of Izzi Dame and reintroduced The Wheel with contenders from NXT andWWE Evolve. With Izzi Dame's name noticeably missing,Lola Vice was chosen to be the next #1 Contender. The match ended in disqualification as they tried to fend off Fatal Influence after Izzi Dame was ambushed. The following week on TV the duo of Paxley & Dame alongside, Lola Vice would lose toFatal Influence in a 6 woman tag match, making Paxley reconsider her stance of being a fighting champion, on the behest of Dame, the following week Paxley would give Jayne her rematch, on the promise that Jayne can never challenge for the title again, if she were to lose. AtNXT Gold Rush on November 18, Paxley lost the title back to Jayne after Dame turned on her, ending her reign at 24 days, marking the shortest reign in the title's history, exiling Paxley from The Culling, and cementing her face turn.

Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (2024–2025)

[edit]

AtNXT Battleground on June 9, 2024, halfway through the NXT Women's Championship match between Roxanne Perez andTNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace, Paxley appeared from the crowd and attempted to steal the TNA Knockouts World Championship but was stopped byAsh by Elegance and Grace, who lost the title match as a result of the interference.[45] After failing to steal the TNA Knockouts World Championship at NXT Battleground, Paxley made her surprise debut appearance inTotal Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) atAgainst All Odds on June 14, where she answered TNA Knockouts World Champion Jordynne Grace's open challenge for the title, but failed to win the title.[46] On the March 15, 2025 taping ofImpact!, Paxley returned to TNA with Gigi Dolin and demanded a title match againstTNA Knockouts World Tag Team ChampionsAsh by Elegance andHeather by Elegance, but failed to win the titles the following week.[47] On the April 17 episode ofImpact!, Paxley and Dolin won their first TNA match by defeating Heather By Elegance and Maggie Lee.[48]
