Tasia Valenza is an American actress. She is most known for being the voice ofPoison Ivy in theArkham series from 2009 to 2015 as well as in a number of other video games, such asSniper Wolf inMetal Gear Solid and her various roles in the Star Wars Universe.
Tasia Valenza's twin brother is a former television writer and now solar marketing consultantTor Alexander Valenza. She also has an older brother, Greg.[1] Valenza has been married to Harvey Stern since 1995 and has three children.[2][3]
In the early part of her career, Valenza played the role of Dottie Thornton onAll My Children from 1982 to 1986, earning aDaytime Emmy nomination for her work. She also showed up in a guest star appearance in the fifth season ofThe A-Team, and a recurring role as Lieutenant Winslow inSpace: Above and Beyond. She also portrayed Jodie Abramovitz inAaron Spelling's drama seriesThe Heights.
Valenza appeared in the 1988Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Coming of Age" as a Vulcan.[citation needed] She returned toStar Trek in 2017 with a voiceover role in the first two episodes ofStar Trek: Discovery as the computer voice of the USSShenzhou.[4]
Valenza is best known to play female characters in comic book based video games, predominantly villains in video games such asBatman: Arkham Asylum, where she played fan-favorite characterPoison Ivy, as well as multipleSpider-Man games. In January 2023, Valenza guest voiced a character, Tawni Ames, the Separatist governor of Desix, who opposes the Empire's occupation, onStar Wars: The Bad Batch.[5] She also had a recurring role as theJedi Shaak Ti inStar Wars: The Clone Wars.
