Tara Tatars are a sub-group ofSiberian Tatars.[1] They are settled inBolsherechensky,Znamensky,Muromtsevsky andTarsky districts ofOmsk Oblast.

They are divided into two local sub-groups:

  • Ayaly Tatars
  • Turalin Tatars.[2]

They speak Tara speach ofTobol-Irtysh dialect ofSiberian Tatar language.[3]
