Antti Tapio Hakanen[1] (born 1977), better known by his stage nameDJ Orkidea (predominantly shortened toOrkidea), is a Finnishelectronic music artist.[2] He has been one of Scandinavia's top DJs for over 10 years[when?] and has been voted twice "Most Popular Nordic DJ" in the Swedish/Danish Megamind's voting and elected five times as "Best DJ" at theFinnish Club Awards. Orkidea has made remixes for big trance labels likeAnjunabeats orHooj Choons and for artists likeTiësto,Tilt, andWay Out West. He was employed as a sound design manager atNokia Corporation[3] and as of 2023[update] he serves as the head of music for the Finnish public broadcasterYle.[4]
