Tanja Malti Jadnanansing (born 26 April 1967) is a Dutchpolitician and formertelevision presenter andcommunication employee. As a member of theLabour Party (Partij van de Arbeid), she was anMP from 17 June 2010 to 7 September 2016. She was replaced byAmma Asante.[1] Jadnanansing focused on matters ofhigher education andscience policy.
Jadnanansing studiedlaw atVU University Amsterdam. She worked among others for theNetherlands Public Broadcasting (NPO), theNetherlands Broadcasting Foundation (NOS), theMulticultural Television Netherlands [nl] (MTNL) and theFoundation Hindu Media (OHM).
Tanja Jadnanansing is anIndo-Surinamese as well as aHindu.[2] She is married and lives inAmsterdam. Since 2018, Jadnanansing has been chairman of theExecutive Board of the Amsterdam-Zuidoost district.
