Tampukancha (Quechua,tampu inn,kancha enclosure, enclosed place, yard, a frame, or wall that encloses,[1] HispanicizedTambocancha, alsoTambokancha) is an ancientIncan religious center located in Peru. It is located in theCusco Region,Anta Province,Zurite District,[2] about 30 miles fromCusco, the historic capital of the Inca Empire.[3]
