Tamfourhill is a working-class residential suburb ofFalkirk within theFalkirk (council area),Scotland. It is located approximately 1.5 miles (2.5 kilometres) west of the city centre.[3] TheFalkirk Wheel is located just to the northwest of the village. Tamfourhill includes the residential area between the south side of theForth & Clyde Canal and the north side of theUnion Canal.[4] It also contains the Tamfourhill Industrial Estate. To the west of the village is a well preserved part of theAntonine Wall, built in the 2nd century andRough Castle.
