Tamarie Cooper (born September 9, 1970) is an actress and playwright in Houston, Texas who is best known for her work withInfernal Bridegroom Productions andthe Catastrophic Theatre .[ 1] She currently serves as co-artistic director of the Catastrophic Theatre.[ 2] She attended Houston'sHigh School for the Performing and Visual Arts .[ 3]
Cooper is known for the semi-autobiographical musicals she produces annually.[ 4] Her first,Tamalalia! , was performed on stage atThe Orange Show in 1996.[ 5] [ 6]
