Talmage City (also known asTalmage) was anunincorporated community in northeastNewton County, in theU.S. state ofMissouri.[1] The community was adjacent toMissouri Route 37 approximately 1.5 miles northwest ofWentworth.[2]
A post office called Talmage was established in 1878, and remained in operation until 1895.[3] The community was named after the proprietor of a local country store.[4]
