This should surely by 'Voisin Canard' to conform with naming standards. Incidentally it seems to be the aircrft that is responsible for 'canard' being used for aircraft of this configuration. (the only hit for a search using canard in 'Flight' for 1910 is 'canard' in the sense of 'hoax'....TheLongTone (talk)21:47, 26 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Altho the cite at www.hydronet says this was flown in the spring of 1910, this seems very dubious & is the only source I've come across fo this date. Flight calls it 'the new Voisin type' in the 9 Feb 1911 issue [[1]]: an article a few weeks later talks about load carrying trials. And its not as though Issy was an out of the way placeTheLongTone (talk) 13:17, 26 December 2011 (UTC)The hydroavion site also mentions trials on floats madeon the seinelater in 1910, and it is difficultto believetht these wouls have not been widely reported. There is a reference in Voisin's hugely unreliable memoir, but even taken by itself this makes little sense, running together a series of events between 1908 and 1910.TheLongTone (talk)08:55, 20 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
