Album Title

[edit]

In 1994 a Soundgarden interview CD was released entitled "Superuninterview." In one of the interview tracks, where Cornell is asked where the title "Superunknown" came from, he mentions in passing that both "Ultramega OK" and "Badmotorfinger" were titles Kim Thayil jokingly suggested. Does anyone own this CD who can help me with citation? Regards, --199.29.6.221:08, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Jack Endino remix

[edit]

The fact I just added that Jack Endino was busy remixing the album I got from him personally in an e-mail. I don't know how to properly put this into an footnote but here is the e-mail. Would be great if someone could properly note it.

Sorry, that's not a reputable source. I'm not saying you made this up, but anyone can write up a fake e-mail message and claim it to be real, so we can't take a chance. If you can find an article that discusses this subject, than great, but otherwise this won't be able to be included in the article.-5- (talk)17:30, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are right and it is not the kind of source one would like, and I don't have the first e-mail I sent him anymore. I looked it up in the bookde koning van de metal: Soundgarden, in English released asnew metal crown. On page 89 Endino says (translated and shortened):Personally I think the record sounds awfull. The way the album soundss always bugged me. We had 8-track recordings that sounded better and were better performed than the songs on the album. I even talked it over with the band and Susan Silver. I had brought the tapes to Reciprocal and I was to remix the whole album. I had already done Flower in my spare time and it sounded great. But eventually the band decided to abandone the idea because it would probably cost the band a lot of money to get SST to repress and redistribute the album. And this was a time where they were trying to get money from SST, not the other way around.—Precedingunsigned comment added by94.208.4.120 (talk)18:09, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That works.-5- (talk)18:39, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
