Didier played six seasons in the Major leagues. Begining with the Altanta Braves 1969-1972 followed by a season each with the Detroit Tigers in 1973 and finally with the Boston Red Sox in 1974
?? Eddie Watt coach DoB 4/4/42 Lamonie IW Watt played 10 years in the Major Leagues. Watt begin his career in the Majors with the Baltimore Orioles in 1966 and stayed with them for for eight years till 1973. Watt then played two more years in the Majors a season each in Philadelphia with the Phillies in 1974 then a season with the Chicago Cubs in 1975. Watt played college ball at Northern Iowa.

This is not formatted correctly for Wikipedia, and duplicates some of what is already in the article. If these players are notable enough to be mentioned here, it is probably best to just list them in the table that's already here, with Wikilink brackets around each name. If it's blue, the player has an article. If not, the player may not be notable enough for mention. For consistency, it is probably best to list the names only, and let people click through to the players' articles for details, unless the player is specifically notable for something done as a Toro, in which case the Timeline section is a better place to note it. I propose that we merge this article intoTucson Sidewinders, in a format similar toIowa Cubs. The two articles have a significant amount of overlap, since they describe the same team before and after a re-naming. We should streamline them into one article to avoid covering the same ground twice, taking care to retain enough of the visual content from the Toros article (pics, logos) to ensure that we document the former identity.SixFourThree (talk)16:19, 6 May 2008 (UTC)SixFourThree[reply]
I disagree that the Toros and Sidewinders articles be merged. They should be kept seperate. They are two different franchises. According to what I read, Jay Zucker not only owns the current Sidewinders team in the PCL, but also owns the naming rights to the "Toros". As the history indicates, both teams are different. The word is that the currentReno Silver Sox of theGolden Baseball League will relocate to Tucson and be renamed the Toros. I think theMesa Miners article should be merged with the Silver Sox article, but not the Toros and Sidewinders.Ccwstandard (talk)18:01, 11 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Would it be better to separate out the old Tucson Toros (the AAA PCL team) from the independent league team? The two organizations are different entities with different histories. The only similarities are the location and the name. I wouldn't know how to do it but I personally think it would be the way to go.Dcs315 (talk)00:28, 16 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Would like to revisit this. The indie team definitely needs to be split. It is not the same as the former affiliated team. Actually, looking at this, I think it needs to be split more than just that.
