Apprentices

The list of apprentices seems highly speculative and in many cases doubtful. Are there any references to list actual apprentices?--Rick21784 (talk)21:48, 31 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

agreed apprentices the wrong word, inspired / influenced better and nearer the truth. The list needs a clean up Obadiah Gardner for example went to an american politician born 139 years after Tompion's death.......Edmund Patrickconfer06:17, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]


Robert Paterson also wrong so moved list to here for checking prior to returning to article what is left!

Tompion's apprentices includedGeorge Allett,Edward Banger,Henry Callowe (Callot),Daniel Delander,Richard Emes,Ambrose Gardner, William Graham (nephew of George Graham),Whitestone Littlemore,Jeremiah Martin,Charles Molins (Molyns),William Mourlay,Charles Murray,Charles Sypson,William Thompson,James Tunn, andThomas White, many of whom became important clockmakers and workmen in their own right.Edmund Patrickconfer06:22, 1 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
