It would be good to have a map of the boundries, even approximately, showing what area of present day Haiti this state included.eric (talk)06:29, 9 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
According to Charles Mackenzie'sNotes on Haiti, included at that link in vol. 16 of the British Foreign Office's state papers, the line ran from St. Marc through Verette to Mirebalais. —LlywelynII21:17, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The 1811 constitution didnot change the name of the country to the Kingdom of Haiti, but merely established that the State of Haiti was to be governed as a kingdom. Unless there are sources backing the name change (for example, it was perhaps enacted as a proclamation or law subsequent to the Constitution,) theKingdom of Haiti article should be merged as a new section here. —LlywelynII21:17, 20 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]
