If you look at the pages that link here, then, excluding those that link throughTemplate:Merritt Island (edit |talk |history |links |watch |logs), most link toShuttle Landing Facility. A quick Google search confirms this - 655 results for the phraseNASA shuttle landing facility[1] vs 92,100 forshuttle landing facility[2]. It says in Merrit Island, but merrit island is located more south of it. i think it is more in Titusville because the visitor center is south of that and it is in titusville.Parker1297 (talk)16:13, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Just curious about one thing--I know STS-41B was the first orbital mission to land at the Shuttle Landing Facility, but was this also the first time an Orbiter landed there?
