Ragusa

[edit]

I corrected the part about Ragusa, aand my reference is Robin Harris' "Dubrovnik: A History". The mistakes in the previous article were concerning the first use of the title 'rector' and the beginning of the Austrian occupation - the title 'rector' was first used in 1358, after the Republic became independent from Venice (the title count ('comes'), was used during the rule of Venice), and the Austrian occupation started in late January 1814, not in the 18th century.— Precedingunsigned comment added by31.45.147.120 (talk)03:30, 15 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
