Plastisol is also a generic name for the PVC based paint coating that is applied to steel sheet materials in liquid form. Plastisols are available in a huge choice of colours and finishes and are widely used for internal and external construction applications, as well as general engineering.Jaysdad (talk)15:27, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I bought a plastisol pipe cap from stockcap which is soft plastic with a silicone feel to it. It is colored, but is not an ink as such. It may have been created by the mold spinning method described.
