While this article could certainly be improved, it does not need to be split.West Coast of the United States is already an article. If you have come upon this article looking for the United State's West Coast, please return to the previous article and change the link. Why move this? As you say, it's a list of places that might be called "Pacific coast" andnot an article, so what's the problem? —AjaxSmack17:58, 6 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
