Oppose. The full name provides aWP:TITLECON consistent naming convention across all articles onuniversities and colleges in the United States. Many reliable sources likeForbes andUS News and World Report still use the full name. The OP has also made numerous individual RMs on this same issue like this one, which may violateWP:ACROTITLE or use a shorter common name that is rarely used outside a sports/athletic context. Oppose perWP:TITLEFORMAT#Avoid ambiguous abbreviations,WP:ACROTITLE, and what Zzyzx11 said. I see no reason why we need to make the titlemore ambiguous, since the acronym means nothing to the vast majority of people who are unfamiliar with the university. –Epicgenius (talk)16:00, 23 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
