MPV is Multi Purpose Vehicle (underMinivan) is a vehicle that can carry more passenger than a normal sedan without taking away their cargo space(eg:Station wagon). The Multi Purpose means the vehicle is not just carry passenger, in some situation the interior of the vehicle can be convert by storing their seat and giving bigger cargo space.
There is evidence:[1], so a deletion looks inappropriate. Somebody might see the term Mini MPV and want to look it up on Wiki. The more appropriate question is if this article should remain a stand alone, or be merged into the parent article:Minivan.SilkTork22:27, 26 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
From the link you given, some of the car (eg:Honda Stream, Kia Carens or Volkswagen Touran) have 6 seat or more and still have enough boot space for cargo. They more underCompact MPV. Some of the car (eg:Daihatsu Materia or Citroen Xsara Picasso) is more like a Compact Hatchback or Subcompact. Some website is just very confusing because everyone have their own idea, not suit to the terms of MPV or Multi Purpose Vehicle. In this article (Mini MPV), all the car only have 2 row and 4 or 5 seat.Renault Scénic(from Compact MPV),Renault Modus,Nissan Note andVolkswagen Golf Plus likely same withLeisure activity vehicle(LAV) orSubcompact car.
