I originally listed Melungtse as in both Tibet and Nepal as I probably used Peakware as my source. When I converted the infobox to templates, I removed Nepal because according to the map I have, it clearly shows Melungtse solely in Tibet.RedWolf 16:30, Jun 19, 2005 (UTC)
The name of this peak is more commonly rendered as "Menlungtse." For now I'll start a "Menlungtse" page which redirects here, but the new page should probably become the main page eventually. --Spireguy22:57, 20 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Melungtse its self is the name of mountain in Tibetan Language.someone has mention that name of mountian is called JOBO GARU in Tibetan language.i think its wrong. mELUNGTSE its self in Tibetan Language,MELUNG is the name of location where the mountain exist andTSE mean Peak.hence i want to suggest you that MELUNGTSE is the name in Tibetan Language, i also belong from those area. Melung is place where tibetan people visit during summer time to herd their domestic animals. but place remain close during winter due to heavy snow fall.MELUNGTSE and GAURISHANKER very much close to each other.by dhondup.— Precedingunsigned comment added byDhonphon (talk •contribs)09:59, 14 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
