Reference to "old station" removed - this was Liverpool Road station, which has nothing to do with Oxford Road Station and was closed to passengers in 1844. The old Oxford Road station occupied the same site as the present one and was rebuilt in the 1950s.

" It is also patrolled by a "team" of seven cats who perform vermin control duties." - Whoever added this text made me smile. I remember these cats well.Xanucia22:32, 12 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
There appears to be an error in passenger numbers in the table. It is most unlikely that the last year's figure should be about seven times the previous year. Can correct figures be provided for the three years, please?RuthAS (talk)21:40, 17 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I found this video for the song/poem Evidently chickentown byJohn Cooper Clarke. i don't know if this is any sort of official accompanying video but it is shot on a train as it leaves oxford road station so it may be worth looking into and including in the article—Precedingunsigned comment added by81.23.56.12 (talk)13:58, 10 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
