Here's my idea

The article says "The history of continuous news radio in London dates back to the early 1990s."
How so? LBC originally began in 1973 and was promoted as being just that. Am I missing something?Alarics (talk)07:46, 5 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
It's remarkable that one of the world's major cities can't create a really good rolling news radio station, which could actually be listened-to throughout the English-speaking world. The BBC, incomprehensibly, won't do rolling news radio (even though they do rolling news TV), so the market is wide open. LBC's failure is matched by that of BBC London, which ought to be the flagship local station, threatening the BBC's national stations.—Precedingunsigned comment added by80.189.103.145 (talk)19:10, 6 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

LBC London News 1152 →LBC London NewsLBC London News – Although the station'sschedule page on LBC's website refers to its name as "LBC London News 1152"; on the radio, the station is now, as far as I am aware, only referred to as "LBC London News", without the 1152 suffix. On London DAB, the station is also labelled simply as "LBC London News". The station's new logo (viewableon Radio Player) is also devoid of any reference to 1152. I would have conducted the move by myself had it not been for the anomaly on the schedule page.--Relisted. — Amakuru (talk)15:00, 19 January 2015 (UTC) Khairul Islam 02:48, 9 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]
EDIT:Another page on LBC's website actually shows a variant of the logo that says "LBC LONDON NEWS 1152AM" and text that shows the same. Khairul Islam 03:08, 9 January 2015 (UTC)— Precedingunsigned comment added byKhairul Islam (talk •contribs)

To add to this article: what the initialism "LBC" stands for. Does it make sense, if we aim to be encyclopedic, that this basic information doesn't appear in the current version of this article?76.190.213.189 (talk)17:37, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Shouldn't we mention that LBC News maintains a YouTube channel? Source:https://www.youtube.com/@LBCOfficial76.190.213.189 (talk)17:41, 21 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
