Infobox image changed

[edit]

The original image could be construed as intentionally unflattering. I inserted the image from Commons, along with a link to Commons at the bottom.Outdatedpizza (talk)08:44, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Reverted a change. The previous image is so unflattering it could be considered a BLP violation.Outdatedpizza (talk)02:00, 28 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Can this be done again and have the display picture changed? It appears the same unflattering photo is being used again, what a coincidence... /sarcasm142.186.16.25 (talk)01:17, 17 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

conversion to Christianity?

[edit]

the citation does not support the assertion that Bennett was non-Christian before marriage, and that theirs was a Catholic wedding. i read though the cited source several times and amidst the gay-baiting thatdistractify.com does of her husband, i can see no mention of his religious denomination.ValarianB (talk)16:25, 23 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Bing/Bong ?

[edit]

C'mon guys this is obvious satire on what she sees as 'woke pronouns' she actually does not use pronounce to refer to herself... i propose to remove it since this isnt her actual pronounsLuanLoud (talk)15:37, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

She's never confirmed thosearen't her pronouns though...Bronx Langford (talk)16:18, 16 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pronouns

[edit]

Reflected pronouns listed in Bennett's Instagram page. Although it's possible that this is intended as some sort of commentary on the proliferation of people putting their preferred pronouns in their online biographies, I want to err on the side of caution and ensure that a Wikipedia page isn't misgendering a living person. Lots of people use "neopronouns" (pronouns other than "he," "she," or "they") for a myriad of reasons, and there's no reason to think Bennett wouldn't; there is no other context added.— Precedingunsigned comment added byBervnka (talkcontribs)04:01, 24 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Hello - I am personally associated with Bennett.

I am requesting this updated photo of Bennett as the official photograph, circa Spring 2025,[1] and would like to include on her page her famous Kent State photographKent State Gun Photo.

Please change:Bennett was the president of the Kent State chapter of Turning Point USA; however, after an event where a member of her chapter publicly wore a diaper to protest campus safe spaces did not succeed in October 2017, she resigned.[1][2] In May 2018, Bennett graduated with a degree in biology from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.[3]

Please update to:Bennett was raised in Ohio by both of her parents, the second of four children. Bennett was the president of the Kent State chapter of Turning Point USA; however, after an event where a member of her chapter independently and publicly wore a diaper to protest campus safe spaces, and further personal differences with administration, she chose to resign in October 2017. Bennett then began to pursue solo activism. In May 2018, Bennett graduated with a degree in biology from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio.[3] Her public figure page, "Kait's Unsafe Space" on Facebook, currently has 1 million followers.[2]

Please change: Later in 2020, it was reported that Liberty Hangout, the media organization Bennett is associated with, made comments in 2021[clarification needed] denying the Holocaust in a deleted post on Twitter.[21][22]

Please either delete as this was not relevant to Bennett, OR update to:Later in 2020, it was reported that Liberty Hangout, the media organization Bennett is associated with, made comments in 2016 questioning the death toll from the Holocaust, in a deleted post on Twitter. Bennett had no association with Liberty Hangout at the time of the post, and at the time Liberty Hangout was manned by a team. It is presently unknown who was responsible for making the comments.

Please change: Bennett became engaged in 2019 to Justin Moldow, the founder of Liberty Hangout.[21][23]The couple later married in a March 2020 ceremony.[24] In 2021, she announced her conversion to Roman Catholicism.[25]

Please update to: Bennett became engaged in 2019 to Justin Moldow, the founder of Liberty Hangout.[21][23]The couple later married in a March 2020 ceremony.[24] In 2021, she announced her conversion to Roman Catholicism.[25] Bennett has two children with Moldow, born in 2022 and 2024.

PLEASE ADD TO MEDIA ATTENTION: In May 2018, Actor Jim Carrey drew a "devilish" cartoon depicting Bennett's photograph at Kent State University with her AR-10 and posted to Twitter, captioned, "And the devil said, 'Thanks a bunch for Goldilocks. Enjoy the show in Santa Fe tomorrow. Someday, real soon, I'll have you for dinner.'" Bennett later replied to Carrey, stating: "Jim you should be the one in this picture with this caption. You're the one that supports gun control policies that let these kids die. Is this what you have to do because you've become irrelevant? Disgusting."[3]Reynolds.Rap28 (talk)06:53, 18 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

no. we don't source things to facebook, the wikipedia only uses freely-licensed images when possible, and the jim carry thing is an irrelevant factoid.ValarianB (talk)13:40, 19 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

New picture

[edit]

Can we get find a better photo for her? It's obviously unflattering.~2025-38113-55 (talk)02:22, 4 December 2025 (UTC)[reply]
