I am VERY impressed. 2007 ALDS stats up within minutes. (1) VERY impressive; (2) get a life?Ah, but seriously, thanks for being right on top of it. After all, *I'm* the one in here looking to see how many consecutive scoreless post-season innings Beckett has.-DKM-02:51, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I have never heard anyone refer to him as "Big Game Beckett." It's obvious where it comes from, but I haven't heard it used enough to be included. If someone else has, sure, but if not, I'd say delete it.Tithonfury03:58, 26 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That was my first reaction as well. I had never heard of it outside this one article and removed it.Cottcd03:47, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I added that Beckett's nickname was Country but it was erased. If anyone can find sources or evidence that this is true please tell me so I can add it again without any trouble. I got his nickname from a game calledMLB Power Pros just look at the baseball cards and choose Josh Beckett and his nickname will show at the top. This is just so people can check. Thanks.--RyRy5 (talk)01:45, 22 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for checking, one peice of evidence is OK. I will add his nickname(s) again.--RyRy5 (talk)21:30, 1 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Finally nobody deleted his nicknames. Thanks for your proof.--RyRy5 (talk)01:36, 5 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
jacoby ellsbury's article says that he and beckett released charity wines in 2020, named ZinfandEllsbury and Chardon-K, respectively.
i get the first one, but not the second. does beckett have a nickname of "K" or something?
and why isn't the wine thing on this page, but only on ellsbury's?66.30.47.138 (talk)06:08, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Wouldn't the quote by Beckett about the Indian's alleged attempt to distract him fall under inappropriate language by Wikipedia's standards? If that word isn't censored, I guess you can write anything.--Tmudder (talk)21:50, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The highlights of Beckett's career are well accounted for here, but what about some of the lesser-cherished moments? Like at the end of last season (2008), when he had control problems that contributed to the Red Sox loss to the Tampa Bay Devil Rays and their elimination from World Series contention.—Precedingunsigned comment added by72.84.72.51 (talk)02:43, 13 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Article says he is currently pitches for the Houston Astros. Obviously not a mistake but deliberate falsehood. Also article starts with presentation of awards in a non-standard (poor presentation) format, would somebody ywho knows standard address—Precedingunsigned comment added by204.60.125.230 (talk)17:53, 28 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Josh Beckett is linked with the category "Collectors". I don't see anything in his article that mentions what he collects...—Precedingunsigned comment added by184.14.168.127 (talk)15:40, 26 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
