I'm not getting this. Is it a measure of the number of units (as quoted in the article) or is it a measure of the percentage of all units? A percentage would seem to make more sense to me. Change the title of this entry? The standard term as given in most dictionaries of computer terms is "installed user base" or "user base," not "installed base." - TNH
