The map 'Cities that hosted NFL teams in the 1920s and 1930s' does not include Rock Island, home of founding team, The Independents. Also nowhere in the article is mentioned the first game, at Douglas Park in Rock Island. Seems strange an article about the history of the league wouldn't mention its first game, its inaugural event.JiggyWittit (talk) 23:43, 15 January 2017 UTC

The Giants’ legal name is “The New York Football Giants” to distinguish them from the New York Giants baseball team, which played in New York from 1885-1957 before moving to San Francisco.
The team never changed its name and is still officially and legally "The New York Football Giants." Colloquially referred to as "The New York Giants."67.247.60.147 (talk)03:14, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
