sorry, i'm not skilled with the "history" feature, but why did someone (YoungForever, i think) delete all the s3b EP LISTINGS?!
i was so happy to see them here to begin with; a rare case where wiki was ahead of futoncritic (also happened with kim's convenience and star trek discovery recently). even in such cases, they have never turned out to be *WRONG* -- i would urge the user to restore the listings, even if he/she feels the info is still "tentative".
(begging the question, where do these come from in the FIRST place, if not futoncritic?)
luckily i saved a copy while they were briefly here (reformatted a bit):
3-11 04 feb ALRIGHT 3-12 11 feb WATER ON WATER ON WATER 3-13 18 feb NO HALO 3-14 25 feb KNOW YOURSELF 3-15 04 mar OVER MY HEAD 3-16 11 mar ALL IN LOVE IS FAIR 3-17 18 mar WHO DO YOU LOVE?
You can't add them with airdates without the reliable sources that include the airdates because that would beWP:SYNTH. In addition, this is a sitcom which means it may not be in the order that it is on WGA. —YoungForever(talk)05:48, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
They could probably be added after the table in bullet point list form with the prose "Other episodes written for this season include:", that's how it's usually handeled in this case I believe.TheDoctorWho(talk)07:20, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
That's fine tobe added after the table in bullet point list form with the prose "Other episodes written for this season include:". But, on the Episode table itself with airdates (not on the reliable sources) would beWP:SYNTH. I think the ip address was talking about the Episode table itself. —YoungForever(talk)07:44, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
sorry, i am not 100% sure those dates were in the prior listing (which i cut/pasted) -- i may have extrapolated them based on the fact that growish s01 and s02 never skipped weeks (other than the midseason gap). synth, yes, my bad.
either way, why can't the eps appear in the chart with a simple "TBA" or "TBD" for date? separate section and/or long messy "other eps written for..." explanation seems unnecessary.66.30.47.138 (talk)
In other words episodes don't always air in the order produced. The first episode produced for a season could be the sixth episode aired. So unless you have a source with the dates or a source verifying the order the episodes will air in a certain order they shouldn't be added. I'll admit I jumped the gun in adding them but I'm fairly new to WGA sourcing.TheDoctorWho(talk)04:53, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
you're overthinking things. i routinely check pages like this and the info shuffles around quite a bit. add them back into the chart, but "TBA" for date, and then if things change order, change it when the time comes. it routinely happens in the blackish article.
why can't you just treat it like the blackish page? put the tentative order there and then tweak it if and when something changes (unlikely for this show, frankly). even futoncritic has frequent order changes as the weeks progress.
and if there's no DATES listed, who's to say you're evenasserting an order to begin with? only diff is that the info will sit neatly in the chart as A B C D E instead of in some SEPARATE chart with bullet pointsstill reading A B C D E. order v chaos.66.30.47.138 (talk)10:33, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Scaled down the character appearance table as there's no reason to include Parts 1 and 2 of each season as there is no change across any of them. In addition while Shahidi and Jackson do have more of a limited role in the new season this is not reflected by a change in how they are credited, they are still listed as Starring (Shahidi in fact still retains top billing.) There is also no source for the guest appearances listed for some of the cast in season 5, so I've removed that too.TheMovieManiac (talk)06:35, 1 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
