The article reads:

... financial problems and long-term debt obligations ...

It seems to me that "long-term debt obligations"are "financial problems", making this phrase redundant.

Options include:

• Remove "financial problems", leaving "long-term debt obligations".
• Re-word "financial problems" with a specific financial problem.
