This page has plenty of room for growth. Applying research that has been conducted on character displacement in relation to the galapagos finches could allow there to be a better understanding on the evolution of the Galapagos finches. This could be done by looking at the Geospiza fortis who diverged in beak size from Geospiza magnivostris 22 years after its arrival to the island.
