The numbers given regarding the size of the army and extent of casualties are impossibly high. I've added a quick note to try and combat this, but the article really needs an overhaul. It reads more like a chronicle than an analysis of battle. Perhaps one day I'll have time to come back to it. Anyone else interested in the meantime should check out the Barker and Prestwich books referenced, and other reputable historians.Gwinva03:16, 14 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The King's forces sustained much greater losses than the rebels, in fact Henry IV very nearly lost both his life and his throne.
This contradicts the Casualties and losses summary which shows 10,000 rebel losses v 5,000 royal losses. I will use the English Heritage figures.JRPG (talk)18:26, 22 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sources are not properly referenced, information included don't have self-explanatory importance (in a field of peas and the owner of the estate swore under oath that it did?). Structure is redundant. Also don't see a reason why this is put under the Welsh revolt, it is not mentioned in the Welsh revolt page at all. Important historical sources, secondary and primary were missing from the discussion and brings under question whether the original writer had sufficient knowledge of the subject to have created the page.IvoryLanda (talk)02:23, 20 February 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Close to Battlefield Church is Featherbed Lane, locally rumoured that the massive casualties from longbow artillery on both sides meant locals came out with supplies to help the wounded. Another local saying is the number of wounded and dead in one day was not seen again until the Somme 191682.132.235.248 (talk)22:11, 12 October 2025 (UTC)[reply]
