The article states that the name "BASF" is anacronym, but I believe it to be anabbreviation, as an acronym is generally pronounced as one word. How does one pronounce "BASF", if so?Pookiyama (talk)19:47, 18 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
In the 80s and 90s I recall seeing the BASF name on video cassettes sold in the US. But I didn't se anything about this mentioned in the article, which I find a bit odd as it was the first (and last) time I remember seeing the name.
