While I recognise the cultural importance of deities and aspects surrounding them I feel that this article gives these matters undue weight. It is first and foremost an article about the geography. The religious aspects should be in other articles which are linked to from this article, and mentioned here in passing. I am on favour of removing the overblown sections almost entirely, and doing so even if they receive references.Fiddle Faddle (talk)12:54, 29 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
