Comments

  • "a travel agents" isn't just "a travel agent"?
  • "environment 1 mile north of the initial bombings in" comma after environment and bombings.
  • "1 mile" convert
  • "exploded four more bombs in north London, two exploded " exploded quickly repeated, perhaps detonated for the first?
  • "4 injuries" four.
  • "and was the first" doesn't really "run on". I would full stop after Howard and then "They were the first...
  • "Following the bombing, the" bombings.
  • "early 1993, the Northern Ireland peace process had just" overlinked.
  • "the IRA ceasefire in 1994" include IRA in the pipelink.
  • "in 1994.[3] In 1994" repetetive.
  • "on the 27 " no need for the.
  • "in Camden Town.[6] 18 people were" merge, which helpfully avoids starting sentence with a numeral.
  • "At 00:20 UTC, a telephone" add date in here now we're talking about the actual subject of the article.
  • "Society.[10][9] The" ref order.
  • "On the 2 October" no need for the.
  • "bomb could've been" avoid contractions.
  • File:1993 Finchley Road bombings artist's impression of blast subject.png please fill in the "n.a."s, these are not suitable justifications for non-free image usage.

That's all I have for now.The Rambling Man(Keep wearing the mask...)09:50, 3 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

General: Article is new enough and long enough
Policy: Article is sourced, neutral, and free of copyright problems

Hook eligibility:

  • Cited:No -WP:DAILYMIRROR, the source for the fact in the article, is yellow-lit. For a major event like this, surely a higher-quality source is available?
  • Interesting:Yes
QPQ: None required.

Overall: Although the specific six-months fact isn't something that pulls me in, the page topic (a bombing) has enough intrinsic interest that I think it'll get a decent number of views, and quickly reading over the page, I don't see anything better. No QPQ needed, and copyvio/sourcing/etc. assumed to have been covered during the GAN. Let me know once you've improved the source and if you have any other ideas about a hook, and then this will be good to go. Cheers,{{u|Sdkb}}talk18:55, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sdkb Is basic maths okay? This Times piece states the last attack was the1993 Bishopsgate bombing ("Natwest Tower"), which was in April 1993. Otherwise I can change the hook to something else. —Berrely • TalkContribs19:38, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Berrely: Yep, basic maths is fine, perWP:CALC. Lmk once you've changed to that and this will be good to go.{{u|Sdkb}}talk19:48, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

@Berrely: Oops, the change needs to be in the article itself, not here (the source here doesn't actually show up on the main page)., assuming that you change the article itself momentarily.{{u|Sdkb}}talk20:00, 4 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
