There seems almost more detail about the American response to the coup than about the coup itself. This hardly seems NPOV.86.139.15.170 (talk)14:25, 24 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox

[edit]

The coup was not an actual military conflict, there were not two armies fighting a battle. It was just a display of force and a military operation. Thus, the infobox{{operational plan}} is better for this case than{{Infobox military conflict}}. The terrorist bands did not play any role during the coup, and even welcomed it.Cambalachero (talk)13:36, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Media in relation to the coup, and Peron's loss of power

[edit]

There seems to be very little focus on the role of the media in the coup, as well as the explanation of Peron's loss of power, which together would provide a better background context. Also the prelude to the coup could use a few more citationsLAstudygroup23 (talk)14:18, 2 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

What a dreadfully uninformative entry.

[edit]

The dates, the names of some of the principals, that's about it.2001:56A:70E6:2D00:892C:E70C:8B7E:2E6D (talk)11:16, 18 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unsupported claim?

[edit]

The statement "The coup was planned and executed within the framework of Operation Condor, a clandestine system of coordination between Latin American countries promoted by the United States, as part of the national security doctrine, which installed dictatorships in Latin America in order to maintain U.S. influence in those countries during the Cold War." currently has the "Citation needed" tag. Obviously, this is quite the serious claim -- so someone needs to add a citation. If the claim cannot be supported it should be removed.2600:1005:A022:3C2D:A9F5:87E8:2E9D:7077 (talk)05:00, 20 September 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I did some fixes

[edit]

The article was in grammatical disarray, so bad as to refer to Isabel with a male pronoun.~2025-34565-53 (talk)15:57, 21 November 2025 (UTC)[reply]
