Talamar (Arabic:تلعمار, also spelledTell 'Amar) is a village in northernSyria, administratively part of theIdlib Governorate, located northwest ofIdlib and just east the Syrian–Turkish border. Nearby localities includeAzmarin to the west,Darkush to the south, the subdistrict centerSalqin to the north andArmanaz to the east. According to theSyria Central Bureau of Statistics, Talamar had a population of 1,619 in the 2004 census.[1]
