Fox-Matamua made his debut forTasman in Round 5 of the2018 Mitre 10 Cup againstTaranaki atTrafalgar Park inNelson. He played 5 games for Tasman in 2018 and 1 game in 2019. In September 2020 he was named in the Tasman Mako squad for the2020 Mitre 10 Cup.[1] He played 6 games for the Mako in 2020 and started in their 12-13 win overAuckland in the final as they won their second premiership title in a row. Fox-Matamua did not play a game during the2021 Bunnings NPC as Tasman made the final before losing 23–20 toWaikato.He played for Italian teamZebre Parma inUnited Rugby Championship.[2][3]
