Tadmur District (Arabic:منطقة تدمر,romanized: manṭiqat Tadmur) is adistrict of theHoms Governorate in centralSyria.Administrative centre is the city ofTadmur, near ancientPalmyra/Tadmor. At the 2004 census, the district had a population of 76,942.[1]
