TVNZ Sport is a division ofTVNZ which airs many of the sports telecasts inNew Zealand.

TVNZ Sport broadcasts programs likeThe Championships, Wimbledon,Commonwealth Games, and theAmerica's Cup.

TVNZ Sport was originally known asOne Sport and later1 Sport. It was renamed due to sports being broadcast onTVNZ 1,TVNZ Duke andTVNZ+.

They previously held the rights to live coverage of the international rugby union until 1996, live cricket matches until 1999, and theOlympic Games until 2008.
