TheTalleres Nacionales de Construcciones Aeronáuticas (TNCA) (national aviation workshops) was an aircraft manufacturer established outsideMexico City in 1915. TNCA closed in 1930, was briefly revived in 1941 under the nameTalleres Generales de Aeronáutica (TGA) and again in 1947.
The main designers were Brigadier General and engineerJuan Francisco Azcárate, and Italian engineerFrancisco Santarini, who manufactured a variety of domestically-designed military aircraft, propellers and engines.
Some TNCA aircraft were powered byWright andRenault engines.[5] TNCA engineers also designed and produced the high performanceAnáhuac Propeller, later copied by several countries.
