No Surrender is an annualprofessional wrestlingevent produced byTotal Nonstop Action Wrestling. It was originally produced by TNA Wrestling, as apay-per-view (PPV) event. The first one was held in July 2005, but when the PPV names were shuffled for 2006, it was moved to September. In December 2012, TNA announced that the event was canceled. The last event took place in theTNA Impact! Zone in September 2012.[1] It was resumed as a special episode ofImpact Wrestling between 2013 and 2015 and was then revived as anImpact Plusevent in 2019.

2005

The first No Surrender event took place on July 17, 2005 at theImpact Zone inOrlando, Florida. Nineprofessional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on thecard. The main event was aNo Surrender Dog Collar match for theNWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which then-championRaven defended the title againstAbyss. Raven won the match, thus retaining the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. After the match,Rhino made his TNA debut by attacking Raven. TheTNA X Division Championship was defended byChristopher Daniels againstPetey Williams. Daniels retained the championship in the encounter. On the undercard,A.J. Styles defeatedSean Waltman withJerry Lynn as theSpecial Guest Referee.Monty Brown andThe Outlaw defeated the3Live Kru (Konnan andRon Killings) in aTag Team Street Fight also on the card.

2006

The second No Surrender event took place on September 24, 2006 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Eight professional wrestling matches were featured on the card. The main event was a"Fan's Revenge" Lumberjack match, in whichSamoa Joe defeatedJeff Jarrett. On the undercard, the challengersA.J. Styles and Christopher Daniels defeated championsThe Latin American Exchange (Hernandez andHomicide) in anUltimate X match to win theNWA World Tag Team Championship andSenshi retained the TNA X Division Championship againstChris Sabin.

2007

The third No Surrender event took place on September 9, 2007 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Eight professional wrestling matches were featured on the card.Kurt Angle, the holder of theTNA World Heavyweight Championship, the TNA X Division Championship and theTNA World Tag Team Championship defended all three of his titles at the event. In his first title defense, Angle and his World Tag Team Championship partnerSting lost the tag team titles toTeam Pacman (Adam "Pacman" Jones andRon Killings). Angle also lost the X Division Championship toJay Lethal but retained the World Heavyweight Championship against Abyss. Also, on the undercard,A.J. Styles and Tomko won atag team gauntlet match to become the #1 contenders for the World Tag Team Championship atBound for Glory.

2008

The fourth No Surrender event took place on September 14, 2008 at theGeneral Motors Centre inOshawa, Ontario, Canada, marking the first time that a No Surrender event and a TNA event was held outside theUnited States. Nine professional wrestling matches were featured on the event's card. The main event was aThree Ways to Glory match for theTNA World Heavyweight Championship with the championSamoa Joe defending the title againstChristian Cage andKurt Angle. Joe successfully retained the title at the show.A.J. Styles defeatedFrank Trigg in aMixed Martial Arts match also on the show. TheTNA World Tag Team Championship was defended byBeer Money, Inc. (James Storm andRobert Roode) againstThe Latin American Xchange (Hernandez andHomicide). Beer Money, Inc. retained the championship at the event. TNA held aLadder of Love match forSoCal Val, in whichSonjay Dutt defeatedJay Lethal. TheTNA X Division Championship was also defended in aThree Way match byPetey Williams againstSheik Abdul Bashir andConsequences Creed, which Bashir won to become the new champion.

2009

The fifth No Surrender event took place on September 20, 2009 at Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. The main event was aFive-Way Dance for theTNA World Heavyweight Championship, in which the defending championKurt Angle defended the title againstA.J. Styles,Matt Morgan,Sting andHernandez, who cashed in hisFeast or Fired briefcase. Styles won the match to win his first TNA World Heavyweight Championship. On the undercard,Bobby Lashley defeatedRhino,Beer Money, Inc. (James Storm andRobert Roode) andTeam 3D (Brother Devon andBrother Ray) defeatedThe Main Event Mafia (Booker T andScott Steiner) andThe British Invasion (Brutus Magnus andDoug Williams) in aLethal Lockdown match,Kevin Nash retained theTNA Legends Championship againstAbyss in a$50,000 Bounty Challenge,ODB defeatedCody Deaner to win the vacantTNA Women's Knockout Championship,Samoa Joe retained theTNA X Division Championship againstDaniels andSarita andTaylor Wilde defeatedThe Beautiful People (Madison Rayne andVelvet Sky) to become the inauguralTNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

2010

The sixth No Surrender event took place on September 5, 2010 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Eight professional wrestling matches were contested at the event. The semi-final round of the tournament for the vacant TNA World Heavyweight Championship took place at the event, which sawMr. Anderson defeatD'Angelo Dinero in the main event to advance to the final round. In the other semi-final,Jeff Hardy andKurt Angle wrestled to a time limit draw. Another heavily featured match on the card was a tag team match, in whichJeff Jarrett andSamoa Joe defeatedKevin Nash andSting bytechnical knockout. In other prominent matches on the undercard,A.J. Styles defeatedTommy Dreamer in an"I Quit" match,Abyss defeatedRhino in aFalls Count Anywhere match,Douglas Williams retained the TNA X Division Championship againstSabu andThe Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley andChris Sabin) retained the TNA World Tag Team Championship againstGeneration Me (Jeremy Buck and Max Buck).

The seventh No Surrender event took place on September 11, 2011 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Nine professional wrestling matches were contested at the event. The main event was aThree-way match for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, in which the champion Kurt Angle retained the title against challengers Sting and Mr. Anderson. The event also featured the culmination of the2011 Bound for Glory Series as Bobby Roode defeated Bully Ray in the final to become the #1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship atBound for Glory. On the undercard,Austin Aries defeated championBrian Kendrick to win the TNA X Division Championship,Mexican America (Anarquia andHernandez) retained the TNA World Tag Team Championship againstD'Angelo Dinero andDevon andWinter defeatedMickie James to win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship.

The eighth No Surrender event took place on September 9, 2012 at the Impact Zone in Orlando, Florida. Seven professional wrestling matches were contested at the event. The event featured the culmination of the2012 Bound for Glory Series as Jeff Hardy defeated Bully Ray in the final to become the #1 contender for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship atBound for Glory. On the undercard,Bad Influence (Christopher Daniels andKazarian) retained the TNA World Tag Team Championship againstA.J. Styles andKurt Angle,Zema Ion retained the TNA X Division Championship againstSonjay Dutt andMiss Tessmacher retained the TNA Women's Knockout Championship againstTara.

The ninth No Surrender event took place on September 12, 2013 at theChaifetz Arena inSt. Louis, Missouri. In 2013, TNA dropped most of the pay-per-view events including No Surrender, which was retained as a special episode ofImpact Wrestling.

Five matches were contested at the event including a pre-show match. The event concluded the2013 Bound for Glory Series, asA.J. Styles defeatedMagnus in the tournament final to earn himself aTNA World Heavyweight Championship match atBound for Glory. Also at the event,Bully Ray successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship againstMr. Anderson in aLast Man Standing match.

2014

The tenth No Surrender event took place on August 7, 2014 at theGrand Ballroom inNew York, New York. It aired as a special edition of TNA's weekly broadcast ofImpact Wrestling on September 17, 2014.

Sixprofessional wrestling matches were contested at the event. In themain event,Lashley successfully defended theTNA World Heavyweight Championship againstBobby Roode. In prominent matches on the undercard,The Wolves (Davey Richards andEddie Edwards) defended theWorld Tag Team Championship againstThe Hardys (Jeff Hardy andMatt Hardy) andTeam 3D (Bully Ray andDevon) in aladder match andSamoa Joe defended theX Division Championship againstHomicide.[2][3]

The eleventh No Surrender event took place at theImpact Wrestling Zone inOrlando, Florida on June 27, 2015 and aired as a special edition of TNA's weekly broadcast ofImpact Wrestling onDestination America on August 5, 2015.

Sixprofessional wrestling matches were contested at the event. Themain event was aFull Metal Mayhem match for theTNA World Heavyweight Championship, in whichEthan Carter III successfully defended the title againstMatt Hardy. The undercard notably featuredAustin Aries' last match in TNA againstRockstar Spud, which stipulated that if Aries won then he would take Spud's "Rockstar" nickname and if Spud won then Aries would have to leave TNA, which Aries lost.[4][5]

The twelfth No Surrender event took place on December 7, 2019 at The Brightside Music & Event Venue inDayton, Ohio and was co-promoted with The Wrestling Revolver. The event aired live as amonthly special exclusively onImpact Plus. Ten professional wrestling matches were contested at the event. The main event was for theImpact World Championship, in which the defending championSami Callihan retained the title against challengerRich Swann. Another heavily promoted match was aTables match, in whichEddie Edwards defeatedAce Austin. Also on the undercard,Taya Valkyrie retained theImpact Knockouts Championship againstHavok by getting disqualified andOhio Versus Everything (Dave Crist and Jake Crist) defeated The Desi Hit Squad (Mahabali Shera andRohit Raju) andThe Rascalz (Dez andWentz) in a three-way tag team match.
