Irregular-flow creek in Turkey

Tömük Creek (also called Karakız) is an irregular-flow creek inTurkey.

It is inErdemliilçe (district) ofMersin Province. The upper reaches are inToros Mountains at 1,500 metres (4,900 ft) altitude. However, after the construction ofKarakız Lake now it is fed by the lake[1] Its main course is toward south east. After flowing throughKarahıdırlı andTömük it flows toMediterranean Sea at36°38′34″N34°22′38″E / 36.64278°N 34.37722°E /36.64278; 34.37722. The creek supplies the water to the agricultural area around Tömük[2]
