Synergistic gardening is a system oforganic gardening, developed byEmilia Hazelip. The system is strongly influenced bypermaculture, as well as the work ofMasanobu Fukuoka andMarc Bonfils.[1]

After establishing thegarden, there is no further digging, ploughing ortilling, and no use of external inputs such asmanures and otherfertilizers, orpesticides.Soil health is maintained by the selection of plants, mulching, and recycling of plant residues.[2][3]
