Theswimming events at the2023 World Aquatics Championships were held from 23 to 30 July 2023 at theMarine Messe Fukuoka Hall A inFukuoka, Japan.[1][2]Léon Marchand ofFrance won the Male Swimmer of the Championships award andKaylee McKeown ofAustralia won the Female Swimmer of Championships award based on individual point score. TheUnited States won the Team of the Championships award based on team point score.[3] World Records were broken in six individual and three relay events. China'sQin Haiyang and Australia'sKaylee McKeown became the first male and female athletes at a World Aquatics Championships to win the 50 m, 100 m & 200 m events in a single stroke, at a single World Aquatics Championships.[4]
