Suurlaid (English:Big Islet) is a smallEstonian island in theBaltic Sea. Its coordinates are58°31′42″N23°15′39″E / 58.52833°N 23.26083°E /58.52833; 23.26083[1]

Suurlaid lies just off the southern coast of the Estonian island ofMuhu. Together with Muhu and neighbouring islandsViirelaid,Võilaid, it formsMuhu Parish (Estonian:Muhu vald), the rural municipality withinSaare County, Estonia. The nearest populated settlement is the village ofPädaste, which lies on the southern coast of Muhu.

The island has a total area of 1.9 km2 and is very flat. The highest elevation point on the island is only 2.1 meters above the sea level.

The area around the island is rich fish stocks and the island itself is farm managed in the spring and summer with cattle and sheep.
